I don't know whether this will help you as much as I hope it will, as a lot of the combat is learning the best plan of attack for each individual monster and repeating it as perfect as you can.
This was originally going to be included with the video 'Battles Explained' but overall the video would have been 22 minutes long and that's just not fun to watch. XD
