This invention should be called the 'Otto-mobile', with the company name seeming to be a contraction of Lilienthal+Lithium. It seems fitting that innovation in winged human flight has come full circle back to Germany.
This looks to me to be the smartest design of all the companies out there who have been striving to accomplish this, some over the period of several decades. Electric VTOL is finally very close to becoming a reality. Just add people.
