Literacy is a powerful way to promote sustainable development. In the areas CHOICE Humanitarian works in remote parts of Guatemala, women that speak only the native language of Q'eqchi' and cannot read have been isolated from their area economy. We are starting an aggressive program to teach these women Spanish.
