Improvising and live looping is very rewarding. Even more so if you’ll set up some frames and boundaries. Some say limitation is liberation.
In any case the Octatrack give me the possibility to prepare a set for live looping. I’m demonstrating a workflow where I use pick-up and flex machines in tandem. Together with use of scenes I have a setup that let’s me loop and manipulate both electronic and acoustic instruments.
