Got 15 minutes? You've got enough time to learn all about Logic Pro X's stock compressor plugin!
IMPORTANT: Headphones are best to hear the differences, and I tried to keep the volume as even as possible, however I do show the difference between settings so you'll want to make sure your volume isn't too loud going in. If you keep it at a moderate level it should (hopefully) be fine! Also, sorry about my computer's fan noise. I tried to edit as much out as possible but it does come in here and there.
If you have any questions about this plugin, please let me know! I will do a tutorial on each of Logic's stock plugins so please subscribe to learn those.
Also please note: I said this in the video but this tutorial does not give settings for specific instruments, it is only to show you what each element does and why it's important. I wanted to keep the video short! If you have specific questions I will do my best to answer them, but often I've found that trial and error are best to figure out what settings you like.
I mentioned posting a link to information on each of the 7 "models" on this compressor. This article explains each model in great detail if you want more insight into them! https://ask.audio/articles/logic-pro-x-compressor-a-new-model-and-a-makeover
