a bit late but i finally got my 517 weapon and just started trying it because without such a weapon its kinda impossible.
with this boss i finally cleared all of DS by myself.and i believe im the first player who did this
Big respect to mione and anyone who is able to kill this before 5.2
it was a pretty intense DPS check.
Since my DPS gear sucks pretty hard and my tankgear with tons of mastery is kinda useless here i needed to do a lot stuff to improve my dps output to beat the enrage and cataclysm mechanic. I havent killed a single meteor and just let the first one alive the whole fight what causes other meteors to not even land while giving me constant 7k ticks per sec the whole fight and saving time i would need to kill meteors. and i havent killed a single blood before aoeing all down what increased my vengeance a bit since they stacked much faster.
a few other dps increasing tricks were involved too and thats basically it.
after ~20 trys i got it with lots of critluck.
Still far away from Spines difficulty this boss still has something challenging but its mostly a gearcheck that requires you to understand how to increase your dps to the maximum.
Anyway im not rly interested to clear that whole stuff on heroic again so prepare for 10/25 DKs vs HoF what will probably be my next project.
