Known also as baggo, cornhole, corn toss, bean bag toss, etc., this mini indoor version of the game is designed to sit on a desktop or tabletop and well sized for a typical office cube. It is a fairly simple project - easy to build. Part 1 covers marking and cutting the wood components.

The game's platform dimensions are normally 2 feet by 4 feet. This small variant is 11 inches by 7½ inches. The measurements are chosen to maintain an approximation to the full-sized game's relative dimensions, while being adjusted to take into account some of the practicalities of miniaturization (such as hole size). The parts positioning and points of measurement are designed to minimize the construction's sensitivity to material thickness. Prototypes were made using 12mm plywood and ⅜" hardboard. The design is centered around ½" thick material.
Construction is done using relatively few and simple tools, of which only four are electric (including a sewing machine for the bean bags). The full list of tools used is:

Bench, workmate or other surface with a vice

Straight edge guide for saw (in other words, a straight piece of wood)

Scissors
Rotary cutter (although scissors can be used instead)
While not necessary, if a table saw and/or drill press are available, use them!
