Maker Faire Silver Spring is a free, family-friendly event that brings together Makers of all types for a spectacular display of art, science, technology, craft and engineering.
It is being presented by KID Museum, an emerging museum in Montgomery County which aims to cultivate creativity, curiosity and compassion through interactive exhibits and hands-on learning for children of all ages.
KID Museum currently hosts a permanent exhibit space at Davis Library (6400 Eemocracy Blvd, Bethesda MD). It is a first step toward the museum’s broader vision of a larger, permanent museum home in Montgomery County, focused on empowering the next generation to invent the future with imagination, resourcefulness, and compassion.
