In this video series I will machine all the parts of a reel of my own design. The reel will feature an adjustable click-drag mechanism and is sized to match a 6/7wt fly rod, which I will build soon.
This video covers the machining of the frame, which is made from 6082 aluminum, using a lathe and a milling machine combined with a rotary table.
