We've started testing a bunch of RCX 1804 2400kv on 4S with the Rotorgeeks V4 ESCs (BLheli fw) to see how much those cheap motors can handle (we expect to be destructive tests when we keep them at high thottle for several minutes).
For now we've run them in less than a minute runs on Emax CF 5x3 props (we run out of HQs and GFs last week haha) but we've got interesting preliminary data with prop flipped (pushing down, thus no proper motor cooling).

Long runs with proper cooling will come. The arduino UNO and pot + LEDs in the protoboard, outputs a PWM between 1100 and 1900 microseconds to simulate an Rx PWM. The LEDs lid at 25, 50, 75 and 100% throttle.
