Amsterdam Airport Schiphol is the main international airport of the Netherlands, located 9 km southwest of Amsterdam, in the municipality of Haarlemmermeer, province of North Holland.
It is the fifth busiest airport in Europe in terms of passengers. The airport is built as a single-terminal concept: one large terminal split into three large departure halls.
During this approach we fly along the coastline of the Netherlands.
We received the request for a short line-up. We accepted this short line-up.
Once on final we received our landing clearance with a nice crosswind. Wind was 250/20G26 (with a final course of 183 this gave us a crosswind component of maximum 24kts). Always nice to fly in this kind of weather! :-)
All ATC and conversations are from this flight. Enjoy the view and movie!
