Dubai police are testing out futuristic hovering motorbikes which they hope will one day from part of its hi-tech police patrol fleet.
Not content with Ferrari and Lamborghini supercars, The tech-savvy force are now looking to invest in innovative new ways of fighting crime and protect the public.
Dubai police is taking crime-fighting into the future. The Hoversurf Scorpion 3 is a cross between a drone and a motorcycle. This hoverbike can fly for upto 25 minutes at a speed of 70kmh.
The hover bike concept has been developed by Russian company Hoversurf, was unveiled at Dubai’s Gitex Technology week.
The manufacturers say “The hoverbike passed successful tests in extreme conditions - dust and heat”.
This is a special version of the hoverbike for the Dubai police. The uniform of the pilot is also provided by the police
