I was trying to get a clip of Fingal sliding down the hill, as he likes to do, but he wasn't going for a big slide, opting instead for a slow motion tumble. Then King who was behind me heard something down at the bottom of the field and all three dogs went quickly into action. Perfect LGD behavior; the boys out on point while Maple hangs back to protect the livestock (in this case me :-). Not sure what it was they went after. I didn't hear anything. Maybe a coyote or bird of prey.
