The conference aims to bring together senior policymakers, market practitioners and other stakeholders to take forward the work of the Fair and Effective Market Review (FEMR).
Speakers and panel discussions will focus on important issues for FICC (fixed income, currencies and commodities) markets. Participants will consider the effect of measures taken after the financial crisis to improve market fairness and effectiveness. And, they will identify emerging issues, such as the adoption of near risk free rates as interest rate benchmarks (LIBOR transition) and technology.
