Biggest swell in years. January 18th 2018 You can see the FIRST 2 waves of this video ridden on the flight out. This day was very rainy and foggy not possible to fly the drone all day except for these two flights were the only time I could launch it. Plenty of waves were surfed before and after these flights I took especially early in the morning when Ion Banner got some massive waves. Thursday was a massive swell at Mavericks. The only shot I got from the drone of guys surfing was kind of far away my copter was still on its flight out to the peak and glad I had hit record. That's the first two waves you see here have surfers on them one on each wave of the set. I only captured two waves ridden during the one break in the rain all day.
