I made it out all the way over the surf, but it took a bit. Heavy wind and limits of communication made receiving & following directions difficult for the drone. However, it succeeded.
It was out so far there was a complete loss of communication between the remote & the drone. It successfully did what many other drones went to the graveyard trying. It hit full speed at the most rapid response settings on pro mode and performed extremely well. Never once did it's physical abiity falter. The only problem with that drone is it's inaccurate display of power reserves in the drone.
