The walking mechanism that is shown in the video was designed and built by Rick "Wolfgang" Geary, Patricia Ham, Josh Horton, Joe Polly, and Steve Wilson. The project was for ME 553: Kinematics and Dynamics of Machinery at The Ohio State University. It was done during Spring 2010 for Professor Sheets. All of the clear acrylic was cut using a CNC LASER cutter. The motor and RF components were taken from an RC tank. The entire mechanism was modeled in SolidWorks and simulations were performed in MATLAB.
