I made two mallets, a joiners mallet and a carvers mallet. Both were made from solid hickory, and the carvers mallet has a hole drilled in the top where I added almost a pound of lead to give it some weight. I formed the lead first by melting it and then casting it in a form. Both mallets were hand carved and chiseled. Please like and subscribe!
