This is a TEK.GADG review of the Microsoft Surface Pro with Windows 8. The Surface Pro is Microsoft's first Intel CPU-based tablet hardware. It runs full Windows 8 with support for traditional x86 programs, as well as the new metro style apps.
Some things that were not mentioned in the video:
- It has a pretty short battery life. In our tests it lasted about 4 hours with moderate use. Okay battery life for a Windows laptop, but really weak in tablet standards.
- The speakers sound better than the ones on the Surface RT, but they still sound tinny when compared to the MacBook Air or even the iPad.
