Crystal Ball is a data-driven social controller for visual exploration. We present a personal view of the interconnections between data such as news and narrative entertainment for an individual or a group of people. They may be either in the same place or each using their own globe. Multi-touch gestures expose and bring into focus the joint commonalities and present them on a large, 4K display. The goal is to explore the universe of material as well as the themes that friends hold in common. (Ultimate Media Program)
