Another short update this week- most of the time has been spent on the Central Valley bridge build. Check that out here:

We did manage some time on the layout- worked on the back corner area. Some trees, shrubs, and dead-fall was added. A "No Trespassing" sign was added to the tunnel portal and some line side details were added along the track. The rock outcroppings were detailed with various tufts and small trees.
We will likely let this sit for several days, see how it looks, then perhaps add some of the Silflor Filigranbusche. Then we have to call it "good enough" as we need to fill in our access area so we can finish the branchline scenery and move onto the rest of the layout!
It isn't "Josef Brandl Good" yet, but a start and we will continue to work on our techniques as we aspire to create scenery inspired by Josef Brandl's outstanding work.
