The workshops at IT4ALL promote lifelong and active collaborative learning. This means that participants engage in collaborative social learning by providing ongoing feedback to the other members in the discussion forms.
M4T-B workshop is intended to provide beginners with the necessary knowledge and skills to create basic Moodle resources and activities. IT4ALL embraces a life long learning methodology where participants are responsible for taking charge of their own learning. The facilitators will guide and facilitate your learning journey.
Please note that online courses are not limited to time or place. You can access the content, interact with the other members and the instructor/s, and work on the assignments at anytime and anywhere. However, since the workshop is only 4 weeks long, you should be doing your very best to keep up with the weekly tasks. You can enroll in the M4T-B by accessing the Moodle or here: http://www.integrating-technology.org/course/view.php?id=331
You will also work in a Sandbox course. The sandbox course is a separate course or learning environment where you can explore and experiment with the Moodle resources and activities to develop a lesson for your students. In the sandbox you will have the role of a "teacher" so that you can learn how to add, edit and delete content. Here's the course sandbox: http://www.integrating-technology.org/course/view.php?id=330
