After the memorable album release at MAAT museum in Lisbon, Moullinex will present an equally artistic and collaborative live session of Hypersex. The band will perform 4 tracks from the new album, out last October.
These unique and exclusive studio sessions will be streamed, edited and manipulated live on Facebook by the film maker Rui Gomes who decided to rescue our beloved old “friend”, the green screen.
Not only a big homage to the DIY philosophy, ubiquitous in club culture, but also a way to create a faceless, genderless and anonymous, albeit human performance. The greatest of dance floors are made by unnamed heroes. There is room for everyone, everything from everywhere.
For this first Hypersex Chroma Live session, the band will perform “Huggers” live. In the coming weeks we can expect the same treatment for “Love, Love, Love”, “My ladybug” and “Painting by Numbers”, all songs off Hypersex.
After Rui Gomes' live videos, a complete “raw” version of this Green Screen session will be released online in a “open source” challenge to video makers out there. Stay tuned!
