I am not an electrician or a heater expert, (just a normal guy), but was able to troubleshoot my pilot light issue. A lot of the smaller camping heater units by Mr. Heater apparently have issues with a faulty tip over switch and people bypass the wiring. I did that on this cabinet model with no success. I then did what some people said by taking steel wool (I used sand paper) and lightly sanding the tip of the thermocouple sensor (looks like a 3/4" metal pencil tip) to the left of the propane pilot burner. (Some people also refer to a thermocouple as the flame sensor). *** YOU DO NOT TO POP OFF THE BURNER GRILL TO GET TO THE FLAME SENSOR. Amazingly after an hour of getting frustrated trying everything else I watched other people do on YouTube, lightly sanding the flame sensor worked on my particular unit. Your results may vary and you could in fact have a faulty tip-over assembly or a bad thermocouple. The tip-over switch can be bypassed wired (but at your own risk because the heater is now a safety hazard). If it needs replaced, the thermocouple looks to be under $10 but would take some confidence tearing your whole unit apart and replacing it. If my solution worked for you, (or didn't), feel free to chime in under the comment section as there aren't a lot of YouTube videos on this particular cabinet model. Thank you for watching! - Kerry
