Munich City Tower being constructed over 2 years captured in 9 minutes! Created by Michael Wittmann and James Scannell for DAVID GmbH. Dedicated to the 2 construction workers who were crushed to death on the site in April, 2002 (that is also apparent in the standstill in construction around 3 minutes).
The video was captured with 1 photo every 20 minutes, and we occasionally adjusted the recording time window according to the season (so that there were not too many night shots). We also struggled with various problems like foggy, rainy and dusty window as well as having to adjust the tripod for aforementioned problems as well as when the cleaning lady had bumped it and correcting for the angle to catch the growing building..
