My first augmentation was with saline implants, and years later I decided to have a revision with a breast lift and silicone implants.
My recovery was not picture-perfect. My body rejected stitches, my incisions opened, and I had to pack wounds while healing. I wanted to share the real side of breast surgery because so many women only see the before-and-after photos, not everything that can happen in between.
