I hiked my first Fourteener on September 13, 2014 - Mount Sherman, outside Fairplay, Colorado. Near the end, we decided not to attempt the summit due to the ferocious winds; we were worn out from fighting them for several hours and they got even worse at the top. But it was a beautiful hike and I got to try out my new GoPro.
