At the QEII Foundation we have the privilege of working with patients and donors who remind us every day that, when everything else is stripped away, health is what matters most. This story is one of those reminders.
Located in Halifax, N.S., the QEII Health Sciences Centre serves as a local community hospital for immediate and emergency care, and a specialized care centre for the most seriously ill patients in Atlantic Canada. The QEII's specialized care includes heart surgery, cancer treatment, neurosurgery and organ transplantation.
