The Netgear Arlo Q is a smart security camera that is really budget friendly. It will alert your phone if it hears or sees anything it thinks needs your attention. What makes it special is all video clips it saves are backed up to the cloud for 7 days for free! It also have great features including a schedule mode for setting the times each day you want it to be monitor and a Geofencing mode that uses your GPS is arm and disarm the camera. It’s not a security system replacement but it’s great to give you piece of mind and being able to monitor your house on your own.
