The American International Toy Fair is held annually mid February in New York City's Javits Convention Center. The show is open to the toy trade only - VP's, Owners, and Buyers of the World's largest toy companies.

Toy Fair's promoters describe it as the largest toy trade show in the Western Hemisphere. The 110th annual Toy Fair, held February 10-13, 2013, attracted more than 1,500 manufacturers, distributors, importers and sales agents from 30 countries to display their toy and entertainment products in over 300,000 square feet (28,000 m2) of exhibit space. Nearly 9,500 buyers from 5,000 retail outlets, including buyer delegations from twenty-two (22) of the nation's Top 25 Toy Sellers, such as Walmart, Target, Toys"R"Us, Amazon.com and Kmart were also in attendance. Overall, an estimated 30,000 attendees from 92 countries traveled to New York City for the Toy Fair.
