Keep in mind that the intro and ending music do not normally have the lyrics because of licensing issues so I synched the original songs up with the videos, and the ending wasn't very well done on my end, but it's better than nothing... You'll see how there are no lyrics in the bad ending, which after the part where Sonic throws the rock is the same as the good ending but no "YOU'RE TOO COOL" Also keep in mind that the original video was 4:3 and even more squished on the original SEGA CD release where as on the PC version they were able to take advantage of more colors. This is the PC version's opening that the Taxman cropped to make it fit the 16:9 aspect ratio. The animation looks a little grainy but no known version of the intro exists without grain on it. (well the SEGA CD version doesn't have it, but that's because it was limited to 64 colors and more limitations and looks rather bad by comparison to the original PC version and this) I still think the animation looks very good even by today's standards, and if someone possibly reanimated the entire intro sequence in widescreen it'd be gorgeous. This is the same animation style later used in some Sonic OVAs that became Sonic the Movie in the US, but I think the execution of the animation in Sonic CD just looks better over all, more polished. The movie looks kind of rushed and bland at parts for the character animation anyway.
Another thing to take note of is that the intro was slowed down to try and synch up with the sound effects. I don't know why this was done the way it was, but it wasn't something on my end it actually looks that bad in game as well. I think it might've been something to do with how the Taxman had trouble finding the Japanese ending from the Japanese PC release (if there even was one? I have no clue)
Also, crap I actually have to find something to LP now... This was one of the LPs I managed to get done in the same month I started it more or less.
Also: Special thanks to my good friend Robjoe for reminding me that you can actually control Sonic's speed by pressing back to slow down in the Special Stages.
Well, I wouldn't really consider this an LP as it's a crudely edited mash up of what I spent a few hours doing one day.
