This was a winter trip to Gatlinburg for a quick weekend. Weather hadn't been great in Ohio or Tennessee, but was good enough to depart. We monitored the destination weather along the flight and it was slowly improving as a storm passed through. We broke out about 300 above minimums. It was a good approach and coming into it, there was a distinct possibility of needing to shoot a missed approach.
