Song: Drain You
Studio Release: Nevermind (1991)
Show: Pat O'Brien Pavilion, Del Mar Fairgrounds, Del Mar, California, USA
Date: 28 December 1991
The song featured is culled from the Westwood One radio broadcast of the show, one of a handful of dates the band did supporting the Red Hot Chilli Peppers. The songs used are all strong performances of commonly played songs. 'Drain You' is interesting, featuring an alternate introduction possibly due to Kurt using a different effect on his guitar that is, as far as it's known, unique to this show. But otherwise a fairly standard run through.
The show these songs came from is a good performance. The band, playing second on a bill including the Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Pearl Jam performs a short set, consisting of most of the bands hit songs of the time. This is a strong performance by a band at the peak of both their powers and popularity and is well worth checking out.

Lyrics
One baby to another says I'm lucky to've met you
I don't care what you think, unless it is about me
It is now my duty to completely drain you
I travel through a tube, and end up in your infection
Chew your meat for you
Pass it back and forth
In a passionate kiss
From my mouth to yours
I like you
With eyes so dilated, I've become your pupil
You've taught me everything without a poison apple
The water is so yellow, I'm a healthy student
Indebted and so grateful, vacuum out the fluids
Chew your meat for you
Pass it back and forth
In a passionate kiss
From my mouth to yours
I like you
One baby to another says I'm lucky to've met you
I don't care what you think, unless it is about me
It is now my duty to completely drain you
A travel through a tube, and end up in your infection
Chew your meat for you
Pass it back and forth
In a passionate kiss
From my mouth to yours
Sloppy lips to lips
You're my vitamins
I like you
