On November 1, one day before Republican congressional leaders planned to announce their tax break plan, a coalition under the umbrella of "Not One Penny" staged an opposition rally at the U.S. Capitol. Featured speakers included House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi, Senators Elizabeth Warren and Ron Wyden, and Representatives Pramila Jayapal and Ted Lieu. Supporting organizations included Tax March, Americans for Tax Fairness, Center For American Progress Action Fund, MoveOn.org, Indivisible Guide, Stand Up America, Public Citizen, CREDO Mobile and People's Action.
