## Short description ##
-Cross your eyes.
-I find it easiest/best at 2-3 feet away (Full Screen, 24" Monitor).
-It may seem blurry at first, but if you let your brain settle in, it will become more crisp.
## Long description ##
-The original video is courtesy of wyldeman7 (I don't have mine yet). But this video is not exactly the same even though it looks that way. The original poster's video shows the raw output of the Oculus Rift. While wearing the Oculus, your left eye sees the left image and your right eye sees the right image. Some have said that if you cross your eyes it "kinda looks 3d but is blurry." That's because when you cross your eyes, you are seeing the right image with your left eye and the left image with your right eye. This is NOT RIGHT.
## What I changed ##
In this video, I have swapped the images so that when you cross your eyes you will see the correct image in each eye. Because of the non-uniform distortion of the images, they don't match up perfectly, but the 3D effect is quite pronounced.
To help your brain crispify the image, try blocking the left and right images with your left and right hands so only the center (cross-eyed) image is in view. This helps you to focus on the image. Also, the further away you are from your monitor, the easier it is to cross your eyes... and then you can move closer.
EDIT: A friend reminded me that you can also see the same effect in the original video by "uncrossing" your eyes. Though this is difficult with large displays. It does work well on smaller cell phone screens though.
