Running an old ASP .12 model engine after crankshaft replacement. The engine hit the concrete while test flying a tethered model autogyro and the crankshaft bent. I always had problems in transition with that engine. You will notice the hesitation in RPM increase when throttling. I think that there must be something wrong in the idle needle. In the video, it is completely closed and this is when I have the best transition (i.e bad for an engine but the best for this engine). Prop used is an Aviomodelli 8x4 and fuel Tornado 15% nitro, 18% synthetic oil (Heli blend).
