Yesterday, I took a break from all my training and flew with my instructor Andy to Catalina Island - “The Airport in the Sky” (KAVX). I have been looking forward to flying to Catalina since my very first lesson and I was so excited to go today. It is amazing seeing this airport literally on top of a mountain and then landing on it. When I looked at the video this Imagine Dragons song came to mind as the perfect backdrop for the flight. Enjoy!
