I wanted some more dB's but didn't want to ruin my original exhaust. I bought a second hand exhaust from the internet and cut it open. I removed all the inner tubing and put it back together. It now has one perforated outer tube with dampening material around it, which was already inside the exhaust. I only removed the 2 walls with the 3 tubes. I had some flanges made and welded on the 2 parts, for easy access in the future. Spray-painted the welded parts and fitted it on the bike. Now listed to it with good speakers, it has a nice low frequency sound and when opening the throttle it starts producing a nice mean sound. I just measured the dB's @4000 rpm (dutch law) and it produces 85 dB(A), so it is streetlegal (max = 95 dB(A) in the Netherlands) Check http://img26.imageshack.us/g/18032011365.jpg/ for photo's (12MP) also look at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5xuSG7q1rE0 for more sounds on different runs!
