Pacific Rim 2
Well guys, it is finally official. Pacific Rim 2 is set to hit theatres in April of 2017. Del'Toro returns with his Kaiju vs. Giant Robot monster mash. This is a good thing for Kaiju fans as we wanted the genre to continue to be relevant. Now with Godzilla getting its trilogy and Pacific Rim continuing on, we may be getting what we wish for. Hopefully for a long time.
Also, Del'Toro announced that an Animated series based on and continuing the comic book from the first movie will also take place and is currently being worked on. So that is also good news as we will have some content to chew on as we wait for the second movie.
