Beautiful late afternoon flying at the airport. It looks calm and serene without a cloud in the sky, but the winds above 200' feet were howling. Broke the weak link on the line with no winch pressure. You can hear the wind whistling through the lines the whole flight, even going downwind.
There was this clean laminar flow coming in over the lake (Ontario) that was crazy once you got up a little. You could park the glider on a dime at 600'.
At least I pretty well got the spot landing , you can't see it til the last 20 sec of the video, but there was a little white plastic bag we had set as a mark. In a 10' circle is good enough for me!! What a night!!
