Antje Kunze, CEO, SmarterBetterCities, showcases how CityEngine can be used to reconstruct a 3D model of fishing villages in Tohoku, Japan, destroyed by a tsunami. The project includes the creation of a 3D library of typical Japanese buildings for use in future planning and a unique web viewer that runs on any device that simultaneously displays 2D and 3D views along with corresponding performance metrics of the designs.
