Final profit after more than 28 hours of grind(Pre 2.3.1): 7 Exalts(And many useful prophecies). With more patient/efficient farming method, and selling all the prophecies and using none for yourself, the profit will likely exceed 15 Exalts.
The changes at 2.3.1 also increased the profit margin. (Depending on the market exchange rate, and your luck, the farming strategy will give u potentially better yield)
Much of my testing was done before the buff, but all the rules of Prophecy triggering should remain the same :)
