Phoenix 2000 stock with 808 #16 HD Cam. Managed almost 9 minutes of gliding from 30s of throttle with a light northerly mized with some thermal activity at St Kilda today.
WARNING!! the video is UNEDITED and so is 9min long. It may just put you to sleep. This is my longest glide to power ratio so far with this glider and my 'softest' landing yet!
It could have been much longer if I hadnt accidentally flicked on Butterfly mid flight (at 6:00) - thought 3pos switch was off but it was in middle. There was definately some thermal activity as a couple of large birds were working them very well. I haven't quite worked out how to ride them yet.
