Slope soaring a Phoenix Evolution 2.6m from Volantex at the Hallet Cove Boardwalk, SA, Australia.
Wind 15-20 kts SW, so pretty perfect conditions.
Slope soaring is flying unpowered using the wind pushed up by the slope to keep you airborne. The Evolution is an electric glider and has a motor with a folding propeller, but at no time during this flight was the motor on, not even at launch.
