The Cel-Fi RS2 device is a 2nd generation product from Cel-Fi. Instead of piggybacking/leeching off your home internet connection, this device captures the cellular signal you get and repeats it throughout your home. The RS2 model repeats on the 1900MHz PCS band and 1700MHz/2100MHz AWS band for HSPA+. This does NOT repeat signal for LTE or EDGE- not like that's real important because HSPA+ handles voice and data. In order for this to work you need at least 1 bar of HSPA+ signal in your home. This device costs $575 from Cel-Fi or free on T-Mobile, provided you are on the credit-check simple choice plan and you have good credit. The device needs to be returned to T-Mobile if you move to an area with good coverage or if you leave T-Mobile service- otherwise you will be charged $500. Interested in this device?
