We visit Navajo Lake every summer. Great friends, great fishing, great fish fries, beautiful scenery! Two Rivers Marina rents boats. They also have mooring balls for rent for your boat & free water taxi service to & from shore. It takes about 45 minutes by boat to get from the Colorado end at the north end of the lake to the New Mexico end in the south where the dam is. The dam in New Mexico is where the Kokanee salmon are - limit 5 salmon/person/day. You can catch bass & pike all over the lake. Crappie are mostly caught in May to 1st week in June, then seem to disappear. Lots of Carp if you are into bow fishing!
