Plane Spotting at Manchester Airport | 11th February 2018

Some rather unpleasant conditions were forecast for MAN on Sunday, so obviously I took the oppurtunity of a free morning and I have to say it more than payed off!
Arriving not long before 8am I filmed a couple of movements from Shadowmoss including ex Transavia 737 PH-HSE which now wears the colours of KLM. After this however we moved over to the AVP. The torrential rain, hail, sleet, snow, thunder, lightning and wind made for some of the most breathtaking shots I think i've ever recorded, countless superb arrival and departure shots in the brief time we were actually at the airport, my personal favourite being the TCX A330 landing and United 757 departure, toward the end of the session both the morning EK A380 and TUI 787 made extremely impressive low right turns after departure to avoid weather, this looked amazing!
Rare movements wise there was a lot to report on, easyJet Europes OE-LKF (Previously G-EZDW) still wears half of its livery promoting Venice, so instead of being the Venezia livery I've officially dubbed it the "Eziajet". Moving on from that it was nice to get good shots of 9V-SMF, the 10,000th Airbus Aircraft, along with it's newer counterpart 9V-SMS. Iberia sent an Express A320 on their Madrid route, Swiss sent a newer A321SL, Finnair upgraded the morning flight to A320 OH-LXF which was great, I finally got shots of TCX's new A320 G-TCAE Which is the first full livery TCX A320 on the British register, and finally the biggest highlight for me was Icelandair's TF-FIX, the sole 757-300 in the fleet. An awesome selection in just over 3 hours!
