This accident happened at mile marker 7 on I-24 in Paducah, Kentucky.
The local power company was working on the power-lines; they claim that lightning had struck the pole, causing the wire to fall across the freeway. The red-car on oncoming side of the freeway didn't see the power-line on the ground. The red-car ran into the power-line, causing the power-line to pull the pole on the right side of the video down.
The straight-truck was one of the first to be hit by the falling power-line. The power-line hit the front of the straight-truck, went over the cab, then finally slicing into the cargo-bay.
*Nobody was seriously injured or killed in this accident.*
