I spent some time today practicing stalls prior to demonstrating a engine failure on departure with a 180 back to the runway. All the stall were done with 10° of flaps because that is what I use if I have to return to the runway after an engine failure.
The Cardinal has Roy Sobchuck wingtips and Microearo VGs that allow it to stall at a much lower speed than a normal Cardinal.
