Here I tested the quadcopter for its first flight, tethered by a string attached to the bottom center of the quadcopter.
The control loop runs here at approximately 100 Hertz.
Some have achieved 250 Hertz...
The PID coefficients are not tuned at this point. D and I were 0. P is 7.
Soon to come: altitude control, Lidar positioning/mapping/naviguation, remote control capability with wifi/computer and radio controller (easy but should make testing easier).
This video was shot with my phone so the quality is not optimal.
Edited on a Debian Linux operating system, with Openshot and Pinta which I highly recommend.
